Nadia was a spectacular guide of the Acropolis and the Slopes!  She has a beautiful demeanor and explains everything in a clear and interesting fashion. She even brings pictures so you know what the buildings looked like in their original state. She explains the significance of everything so that you get an understanding of the culture. She definitely maximizes your experience! Highly recommend!

We were thrilled with our two day mythology and history-focused tour of the Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, Temple of Olympian Zeus, Plaka and ancient Agora, with Nadia Pavlikaki.

She is friendly, happy, extremely knowledgeable about Ancient Greek history, and has a way of distilling the various major events and settings into bites that are understandable and truly interesting. I’ve never been a history buff but I was captivated by the stories she told, pictures and drawings she showed us of how the ancient buildings would have looked, and the way she tied so many things together from history to the modern day.

Both days we were just blown away by how much we learned and how much more we appreciated what we were seeing and why it was built, destroyed, rebuilt. Otherwise it would have literally looked like a bunch of columns and rocks. Fascinating tour and I highly highly recommend Nadia for any tour of Athens. WOW!!

Nadia was wonderful!  This tour was just my family.  She started by providing a really great overview of the history of Greece, which set the stage for a better understanding of all the changes that happened on and around the Acropolis. She speaks excellent English and is clearly passionate about Greece, it's history, and it's archeology. What a gift she was to us today as she thoroughly provided a small group tour to my family. I highly recommend Nadia as a tour guide for the Acropolis.

I first got to know Nadia on a tour of the Athens Archeological Museum organized by the Parent-Teacher Organization of our international school at Athens, and since then she has become our go-to tour guide for exploring historical sites across Athens and the Peloponnese. In addition to the fascinating tour she gave us of the Archeological Museum, she has guided us through the Acropolis, Mycenae and Nafplio, Kerameikos and the vibrant Street Art scene of Athens. Nadia is extremely knowledgeable and has a deep understanding of the culture and history of the ancient sites of Greece. She is friendly and warm and is equally engaging whether your group is 20 people or just a few. As expats living in Greece, Nadia has helped us to get to know this amazing place where we live and to feel more connected to its history. We highly recommend her!

Absolutely fantastic guided tour of the Acropolis and Ancient Agora with Nadia - she's super knowledgable, really friendly and delivers quite complex history with ease, humour and undoubted mastery of her subject - she also very obviousdly is extremely proud of her city and its history. Really recommend a tour with Nadia; she brought the places alive and all four of us were fascinated. Without her they would have just been old ruins, with her they became alive and real and marvellous. Thanks so much Nadia, we hope to be back and take a few more of your guided tours. All the best!

We found Nadia through Matt Barrett's Greece Survival Guide site. She was everything you could want in a tour guide: friendly, cheerful, organized and tremendously knowledgeable and passionate of her subject.  She was able to arrange headsets which was invaluable for understanding the presentation in the crowds and the wind. We were a group of 7 older adults with quite diverse backgrounds and interests. Despite this, Nadia kept everyone’s attention in the two tours (07-08 October, 2022) we took: Acropolis and the Acropolis museum, and the Ancient Agora. Nadia’s fee was very reasonable for the services rendered. We would most heartedly recommend her tours.

Stick 16 gynaecologists in a bus with partners and mix well with Nadia. A recipe for a wonderful few days exploring the sights of Athens and beyond. Nadia's engaging and relaxed style, underpinned by encyclopaedic knowledge of her subject, and her ability to make the dusty rocks and ruins come to life was superb and just what we wanted. We learnt so much as we visited Sounion, Mycenae, Epidauros as well as the Acropolis. Until the next time .... Ευχαριστώ πολύ.
